School Safety Director

You're responsible for keeping every kid in the district safe from the moment they leave home until they get back. Crossing guards, security cameras, emergency drills, threat assessments, bus routes — all you. It's a full-time desk job with field visits, and you'll spend equal time writing safety plans and sitting in school board meetings explaining why your budget request isn't optional. When nothing bad happens, nobody notices. When something does, you're the first one on the phone.
