What you'll actually do
- 01Manage front desk, billing, and clinical support staff
- 02Oversee revenue cycle management — from patient check-in to final payment
- 03Handle HR issues including hiring, firing, and the awkward conversations in between
- 04Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and whatever new regulation dropped this month
- 05Negotiate contracts with insurance companies and vendors
- 06Resolve patient complaints that have escalated past the front desk
- 07Balance the books while the providers generate referrals faster than you can process them
