What you'll actually do
- 01Train new medical assistants while somehow maintaining your own patient flow
- 02Troubleshoot EHR issues because IT takes 3 business days to respond
- 03Coordinate daily schedules between providers, rooms, and the front desk
- 04Handle the complicated blood draws and procedures other MAs can't manage
- 05Manage clinical supply inventory — run out of gauze and you'll never hear the end of it
- 06Serve as the bridge between the medical staff and administration
- 07Take your own vitals when you realize you haven't eaten since 7 AM
