Carrier Supervisor
Logistics & TransportationYou manage the carriers. Every route, every overtime request, every 'I can't come in today' call goes through you. You're the link between the station manager and the letter carriers on the street, which means you absorb pressure from both sides. You handle route inspections, resolve delivery complaints, manage time and attendance for 20-40 carriers, and explain to everyone why the mail volume keeps going up during the holidays while the staffing stays flat. The USPS promotes from within, so you know exactly how hard the job is — because you used to do it.
