Fire Engineer / Lieutenant
Public SafetyYou're the one driving the rig and running the pump panel while everyone else gets the glory of going inside. As a lieutenant, you're also babysitting a crew of adrenaline junkies and making split-second decisions that determine whether a bad day stays bad or gets catastrophic. You studied for a brutal promotional exam, you outrank most of your friends now, and yes — it's weird telling people you used to eat cereal with that they need to do better.
